At TaylorCrabbe, we are committed to training thoughtful, well-rounded lawyers equipped for the demands of modern legal practice. Our one-year pupillage programme offers newly qualified lawyers the opportunity to work across the firm’s diverse practice areas and develop the core competencies needed to succeed in both litigation and transactional work.
Pupils will rotate through our core practice teams and will work on an array of assignments spanning:
From the outset, pupils are involved in active files and client work. You will work closely with associates and partners, gaining exposure to legal strategy, client interactions, regulatory compliance and court procedure.
We do not believe that legal knowledge alone makes a successful lawyer. Beyond technical training, the programme includes a structured curriculum covering legal ethics, commercial awareness, legal research and writing, practice management and professional conduct. Training sessions are delivered by senior lawyers within the firm as well as external facilitators with experience in practice and academia.
We also offer a dual-mentorship model: each pupil is assigned both a senior lawyer and a junior associate mentor who provide support, feedback and guidance throughout the year. Regular sessions, workshops and seminars ensure continuous learning and engagement with current developments in law and policy.
This is an opportunity to train with a firm that values rigour, collaboration, and public-spirited legal practice.
We offer a competitive compensation package.
We welcome applications from prospective pupils who will be called to the Ghana Bar in October 2025. Ideal candidates should demonstrate:
We are particularly keen to hear from candidates who have participated in mooting, legal clinics, internships or other practical legal training. Prior work experience, whether in the legal sector or elsewhere, will be considered an asset but is not required.
Above all, we are looking for thoughtful and curious individuals who are eager to learn, contribute meaningfully to the firm’s work, and grow as professionals.
